How it works

    • • Optional periphery devices like scales and counter broadcast collected data via Bluetooth to the nearby devices.

    • • Hives (main units) group their own monitoring info with data from periphery devices (if present). Then, they exchange the data with a Hub via LoRa.

    • • Hub, basically being a small LoRa telecom tower, gathers data from all hives in the ~2-4 km range, and exchanges data with BeeData Cloud via Wi-Fi or GSM.

    • • On a smartphone you can see the data nicely presented. You can manipulate the data, send commands, and receive important notifications about your apiary.

      Gets installed inside the hive. Gathers temperature, humidity, noise, and a few other metrics, as well as all the data from periphery devices such as Scales and Counters that can be separately linked.
